This blog is set up as a tribute to the late, great cartoonist Al Wiseman. Al was best known for ghosting the acclaimed Dennis the Menace comic book in the 50’s & 60’s. Unfortunately, being a "ghost" meant Al’s name was largely unknown, even to his fans. Let’s right this wrong! Join us as we delve into the unjustly overlooked life & career of Al Wiseman. "Dennis the Menace" & related characters are ©Hank Ketcham Enterprises, Inc.

Thanks Jim!
That's the great thing about having a cold- you can slack off on your blog and get sympathy while doing it!
Bill, good to see you're still with us! Hope you're better!
Hey, get well big guy! AW needs you!
Hey, Where am I?
Actually, the company hosting alwiseman.com switched servers at the end of last month. And (for some reason) my local internet provider couldn't find this site on the new server for a few days. So I wasn't able to upload images or post anything or even view the Wiseman blog from my computer. Plus, I couldn't get any of my emails. Talk about a scary Halloween!
And now Blogger still can't find the Wiseman Blog for me to post anything new.
Maybe one day this will get all figured out...
I wonder if the lack of posting ability is the ghost of Hank Ketcham still trying to surpress the contributions of Al Wiseman to the popularity and success of a certain Mitchell kid.
:)
