This blog is set up as a tribute to the late, great cartoonist Al Wiseman. Al was best known for ghosting the acclaimed Dennis the Menace comic book in the 50’s & 60’s. Unfortunately, being a "ghost" meant Al’s name was largely unknown, even to his fans. Let’s right this wrong! Join us as we delve into the unjustly overlooked life & career of Al Wiseman. "Dennis the Menace" & related characters are ©Hank Ketcham Enterprises, Inc.

That sure doesn't look like an old lady.
And we're so lucky it isn't! (There's a drawing in the book of the "Little Old Lady" in her underwear- and it's scary!)
This blog is heating up!
The cartooning world has a lot of G-rated cartoonists who drew risque gags!
Thanks, as ever, for the blog, Bill!
Thanks Mike! I'm enjoying the posts about cartoonists on your "Mike Lynch Cartoons" blog!
